I am an Azure / AWS Cloud Engineer skilled in IT Operations and Systems Engineering in the public and private sectors. Experienced AWS, Azure and VMWare / vSphere (on-premises) private cloud and hybrid cloud IaaS environments.

My energetic approach, ethics, creative problem solving, and self-commitment to continued professional education are an asset to any team or project.

The SysAdmin art is becoming my daily routine studing over the night, when I am alone (not so alone 🧎🏻‍♂️Psalms 23:1). Alongside with SRE's practices.

Outside of work, I am dedicated to the community and Lord's activities. I am also a proud father of two wonderful daughters, a supportive husband, and an hobbyist drummer.

Ignite / Spark

Designs and implements cloud infrastructure resources including instances on Polaris Cloud (CCL a Spark Partner).
Performs daily checks, reports, systems configuration to include creation/change/deletion of Entra id users, roles, and permissions, subscriptions management, creation and changes to VNET's, peering, Security Groups, and DNS records.
Performs weekly maintenance for on-premesis site, including apps lifecycle maintenance, new certs, tenant site, server / VMS decommissions, deployment of environments, and policy updates.
Creates hardened, golden images that complying with standards and best practices, works with security teams, performing scans and audits.
Develops scripts using using powershell, some of these are featured on my git repo, and Bash to automate tasks, workflows, and processes.
Monitors performance of remote and local systems to identify problems, performs analysis to identify root cause of performance issues using 3rd part applications, such as OpManager, takes appropriate action to resolve issues.
Documentation of cloud architecture and operational processes, including maintenance processes, installation guides, configuration guides, user access and security, backups and restoration, and software dependencies, change control and compliance with company guidelines.
Heavily 365 administration, tenant maintenance, also as secondary task security daily checks and helping the SOC and SIEM with the defender portal, and monitoring Darktrace Alerts and performing security audits

DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Self Project - The Cloud Resume Challenge

Designed cloud infrastructure for the development of a self architectural project, developing a website (at this exactly moment, the CV you're reading), took the AZ-104 and passed 🖖.
Creation and configuration of cloud architecture, including Security Groups, VNET, network ACLs, VM Linux instances, databases, Load Balancers, and user accounts/roles/permissions.
Worked with application vendors on architecture, deployment, and configuration of applications into the Azure cloud environment using IaaC. Created custom scripts to handle the deployments using Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash to provide an immutable process that could be replicated and run automatically through a CI/CD pipeline.
Created continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline using GitHub and AWS CodePipeline.
Created Azure functions using Python to automate EC2 automate a counter.
Troubleshooting application, system, and database issues at the cloud level.
Provided Azure training and guidance to other fellows(CRC - A tweaked version, featured on my git).

Provided Tier 1 support to over 500 users, including troubleshooting for Active Directory, hardware, software, networking, and mobile solutions for PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxies.
Provided quality assurance by following up on audits and problem tickets, ensuring that users were helped accurately and efficiently, and evaluating areas for improvement in procedures and training.
Collaborated with service desk and project management on process improvement to increase the efficiency of the service desk. This included changes to the phone tree, staff skill tiering, implementing ticket templates, and developing new initiatives to educate users on self-help solutions.
Developed training materials for new hires to get them up to speed on standard operating procedures faster and more efficiently.
